چکیده

We discuss simple integration methods for the calculation of rotating black hole scattering resonances both in the complex frequency plane (quasinormal modes) and the complex angular momentum plane (Regge poles). Our numerical schemes are based on variations of “phase-amplitude” methods. In particular, we discuss the Prüfer transformation, where the original (frequency domain) Teukolsky wave equation is replaced by a pair of first-order non-linear equations governing the introduced phase functions. Numerical integration of these equations, performed along the real r∗-axis (where r∗ denotes the usual tortoise radial coordinate), or along rotated contours in the complex r∗plane, provides the required S-matrix element (the ratio of amplitudes of the outgoing and ingoing waves at infinity). Müller’s algorithm is then employed to conduct searches in the complex plane for the poles of this quantity (which are, by definition, the desired resonances). We have tested this method by verifying known results for Schwarzschild quasinormal modes and Regge poles, and provide new results for the Kerr black hole problem. We also describe a new method for estimating the “excitation coefficients” for quasinormal modes. The method is applied to scalar waves moving in the Kerr geometry, and the obtained results shed light on the long-lived quasinormal modes that exist for black holes rotating near the extreme Kerr limit.

Spin One Hawking Radiation from Dirty Black Holes

A “clean” black hole is a black hole in vacuum such as the Schwarzschild black hole. However in real physical systems, there are matter fields around a black hole. Such a black hole is called a “dirty black hole”. In this paper, the effect of matter fields on the black hole and the greybody factor is investigated. The results show that matter fields make a black hole smaller. They can increase ...

Noncommutative geometry inspired wormholes and dirty black holes

We provide new exact solutions of the Einstein equations which generalize the noncommutative geometry inspired Schwarzschild metric, previously obtained by the authors. We consider here more general equations of state and find new geometries describing both a regular “dirty black hole” and a “wormhole”. We discuss strong and weak energy condition violation and variuos aspects of the regular dir...

Comparison of the Accuracy of Black Hole Algorithms and Gravitational Research and the Hybrid Method in Portfolio Optimization

The main purpose of this research is portfolio optimization in Tehran securities exchange using the black hole algorithm and the Gravitational Research algorithm. We also propose an algorithm named Hybrid Algorithm which combines the two algorithms above to cover the weaknesses of these two algorithms. Finally we compare the results with the Markowitz model and choose the optimal algorithm.<br ...

The phase transition of corrected black hole with f(R) gravity

In this letter, we consider static black hole in f(R) gravity. We take advantage from corrected entropy and temperature and investigate such black hole. Finally, we study the $ P - V $ critically and phase transition of corrected black hole with respect to entropy and temperature. Here also, we obtain the heat capacity for the static black hole in $ f(R) $ gravity. This calculation help us...
